What happened today?
1. Before expressions
Today morning, I got up early as I had stomachache. After going to bathroom, I slept over 40 mins that I expected to wake up at 7 am. Therefore, I couldn't take a shower before going to school and rushed to there! Fortunately, I got there at that time. It has much better that I took some medicines for stomachache. And today, I'm so happy to learn English more than usual day!
Can you make this sentence sound more natural and more like American-style writing?
2. After expressions
This morning, I woke up early because of a stomachache. After using the bathroom, I overslept by 40 minutes, missing my 7 am alarm. As a result, I didn't have time to shower and had to rush to school. Thankfully, I made it on time. Taking some medicine really helped with the stomachache. Today, I'm even more excited to learn English than usual!
